Dir. Bernardo Britto

107 minutes

English

Zoya Lowe (Mary-Louise Parker) is dying. She has a black hole growing in her chest and the only way she can reclaim her life is by using a conspicuous pill to crack time travel, for which she recruits a young university student (The Bear’s Ayo Edebiri) to help. Bernardo Britto’s high-concept sci-fi premise eventually gives way to a more deeply resonant drama, anchored by a revelatory performance from Parker as an older woman striving to rediscover her potential, only to discover something far greater.
